Plays and roast!

A delicious lunch followed by a fun play reading in the garden at the Rose and Crown!

That was how we spent last Sunday afternoon.. Why not come and join us? There’s always a warm welcome and you can read, or if you prefer just listen to us making fools of ourselves!

We’ll be at the Rose and Crown on Sunday 7 May. Play reading’s at 2.30pm and lunch, if you’d like to join us, at 12.30. Just contact the Rose and Crown and ask them to add you to the Castle Players’ table! If the weather’s kind we’ll enjoy sitting in the garden, or if not, we’ll cosy up inside!

Come and say ‘Hello’ at the Spring Fayre on 17 June. Castle Players will be there with some embarrassing old photos and maybe a few surprises!

Spread the word about our free workshop and audition for our Pantomime, Cinderella, on Sunday 16 July at the Village Hall. There are lots of opportunities for actors, singers, dancers, painters, sewers, stage crew, tea makers or anyone just wanting to have fun and make new friends. Everyone is welcome; the more the merrier! (Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult)

Looking further ahead, tickets are available now on our website for ‘Fun, Food and Fantasy’ our evenings of One Act Plays, with supper on 29 & 30 September. All proceeds go to the Village Hall, so I do hope you’ll join us and support our Hall

We look forward to seeing you soon!
