Don't miss out!

So here we are, half way through our pantomime run.

And what a cracker we have. I have been telling you repeatedly what a fantastic show we have but don't just take my word for it. You can read the review from Scene One linked elsewhere in this newsletter. I have to say I am so proud of our cast. They have been so consistently brilliant. I honestly think this is quite possibly the best panto we've done in the 23 years that I have been a member. Of course, none of this would be possible without the dedication of Linsey. I truly marvel at what she has achieved and her tireless energy keeping everything going, directing, staging, set design, props, painting, front of house and cooking our lunch on set build weekend. I have an awful lot to live up to when I direct our next play. The feedback we've received from audiences has been awesome. If you haven't got your tickets yet I strongly urge you to do so. You are guaranteed and fun-filled couple of hours of pure, joyous escapism. There are still tickets left. Then next week, we have open auditions for Jingo in the Village Hall on 6th Feb. Please come along if you're interested and please let all your thespian friends know too. Quite apart from the actors, this will be quite a technical show involving computer generated animations (CGI) and maybe even some "green" screen video sequences so I'm also looking for anyone, or a group, or students who would like to get hands on with a real project to help out. Besides that there are going to be some tricky costumes and props to be made - anyone into making Cosplay stuff? All in all it's going to be quite a challenging and interesting show to stage. Rehearsals are likely to be Tuesday, Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoon or evening depending on actors' preference. But I am open to change this to accommodate my cast if necessary. Audition pieces can be found here Have fun, See ya soon, Loadsa Love. Chairman Steve
